OK my host is under Threat from hackers at the moment a lot of sites hosted by my host have been hacked and I have read thre advice about making sure all my folders that are chmodded 777 are only my Avatars Folders and Image Folders all other folders are either 644 or 755 is this correct My site is PHPFusion v6.00.306. If you have any more advice you can give me to help prevent my Fusion site from geting hacked or my FTP account from getting hacked please share it .

You should be ok seeing as your using v.306.

One tip, make sure your ftp and mysql passwords are different.

yeh they are both different and my Admin to my Fusion is different to so all should be ok. Thanks Digitanium. :p

have a backup of your entire site, not just your mysql database, also it helps to password protect your admin folder with .htaccess.

if they do hit... put it right back up

The only problem with that is that it doesn't actually fix whatever security hole you might have, it just puts the entire site right back up to its pre-hacked state to be hacked again (though that is a valid point, backups are ALWAYS a good idea). I think he was wanting to make sure he had the correct folder permissions to prevent being exploited in the first place. htaccess helps, but chmodding non-htaccess folders is also very important.
