I've finally got PHP Fusion installed, but I have a few questions about setting certain things up on it, as I'm new to PHP as a whole.

1) How do I create new pages?
2) How do I add page links to sections I've created?
3) Can I add pdf linked files to the sections I've created so that they can be printed out if needed.

Thanks for your help in advance.

I hope you are talking about the Official Handbook. If this is the case, please tell us what have you read and didn't understand. If you didn't read that, check page 126 for the instructions. There are also pictures so it's easier to get through the process.

For more info on this subject I will try to cover for you but at least tell me a few things about the content you want on that page, like simple HTML, PHP code, stuff from the database and so on. I'm asking this because you were a bit "generic" on your request.

I am designing a website for my local snooker league, so it has different sections like for competition, league tables etc and I want to add pages to the sections for the different events.

I've now created a custom page but how do I move it to the section I want to place it in and how to get it to work.

All you have to do is go into admin>content admin and click on custom pages. Couldn't be simpler.

In regard to questions 2 and 3.

Good old fashioned html will fix those problems.

If you do not know any html, grad the cheapest book on html and it will show you how to create links.

When you save your custom page, the script will show you the new link to your new "just created" page. Copy it or keep in mind.
So then you must go to Admin Panel > System Admin > Site Links.
Here you can set or edit all of your links 'n sections.
For adding horizontal separator put "---" without quotes in Link Name and Link URL.
Thats all, buddy! ;)

Try to put all your .pdfs in to Downloads. You always could get them with link like that:
http://your.domen.com/downloads.php?cat_id=1&download_id=1

from anywhere.
Also you will keep this way all your .pdfs in perfect ordered catalog!

Use Admin Panel to add files in Downloads.

Be happy, man!
