Hi. I wanted to know if it is possible to have two sites with the same files, but different databases. I want to do this to have my site in two different languages, and I don't want to make a whole new site copying again all the files.

You had to bring php-fusion to differentiate which database details it should use. This is not easy to handle.

if you want to put 2 sites on the same domain, you can do the same thing i did.

www.yourdoman.com/SITE1/news.php and www.yourdomain.com/SITE2/news.php

yes, but he wants to use the same files for two different languages in the database ;-)

i understand..

take a look here www.animefan.ro and see if that is convinient for you. Like slaughter said, it's very hard to use the same files with 2 different databases and 2 main languages

Well, I guess I will have to make a new installation in a different folder and use a sub-domain. Thanks anyway ;)

Perhaps having 2 different scripts that copy diferent config files with diferent table prefixes (ex. one with fusion_ and other with fusion1_) and then redirecting to php-fusion could do the trick. So, depending on the start script, php-fusion would start with different config files pointing to different set of tables. Worth a shot....
