It would be a better approach to have and e-mail automatically dispatched from the site to the user that he/she has been banned.

Information to banned persons is, of course, not essential, but, I do understand that some kind of notice should be sent in order to avoid confusions. Afterall, i do not now if a banned user gets some kind of message when trying to visit the site. An account can dissapear for a number of reasons and could be an accident. A ban is a ban and not an accident.

Clarification, inbuilt in the system, might be needed. Can I ban one of you guys just to test and see what message you get, if any? :p

i banned a test account on my site, and the banned messege is "this account is currently suspended" so i changed it to "your account has been disabledd - please check your e-mails at your registered email address for more information" How would i make it so that an automatic messege is dispatched saying that they are banned? You can check the ban messege on my site using the username test02 and the password testtest
