hi there, just newly discovered php fusion and am enjoying getting to know it. Installation went fine, playing with the admin panel did all the right things excpet now, after playing with the themes i've lost the top right box with the admin panel, log in/out which means, I think, that I can't do anything as can't run admin panel.
I've had a look round and tried to run admin_panel.php (think it's called that) but that just directs me back to the first page of my website.
Any help very gratefully received !

Did you alter anything in your active theme? If so, overwrite that theme folder with the original files.

If you mean that your login box is gone, you can get a login screen when you enter http://yourdomain/login.php.

You're using the Fusion3 theme, right? The original theme is fine, I switched it on my testsite.

Did you upload that theme folder to you host again?

Looks like there's an error in the theme.

Did you alter any other file?

Hi Mr Simple, I've tried uploading the entire theme directory with all the themes to no avail sadly - maybe a reinstall of the whole thing required - is it possible to turn off that box in fusion3 - in which case it looks like I've done so :-(

Vince: Yes, it is possible to turn off that box. It's in the admin panel in the panel settings. If you changed that to disabled or even removed it, you are in trouble....

Ah, then I think I must have disabled it and thus shot myself in the foot ! How annoying - I expect there's a line in the PHP somewhere that I could hack to restore the missing panel, but maybe it's easier to reinstall everything :-) Thanks for your help Mr Simple and Litrocs - I must be more careful next time !

If your news has an edit option (and you have been logged in)> edit your news and you have arrived in administration, where you can make your panel appear again.

Well Elactos has hit the nail on the head - that bit of script sorted it immediately, many thanks and worth remembering! Also thanks to Mr Simple and W7daEikel for their help too :-)
