Hi all,

Having some issues with the Avatar upload. Can't upload a custom Avatar nor can I use on hosted on the site. I tried adding my avatar on this site and once again wouldn'y work. The file is the correct size (100*100) and is under 30 kb.

Can anybody help?

By anychance is there an infsuion for user Avatars?

On your own site make sure your avatars folder is set to 777

images/avatars = 777

Once again cheers for the reply I have gone through these threads. I try my best to find existing stuff first before posting.


All folders that should be are 777ed i changed my avatar on here to test.gif and it worked but not for my site.

Any other ideas?

If your image and avatars folder is set to 777 and the image is under 30 kb and 100x100 or below it should work,

All the CHMODS are set and the the file is the correct size.

I have no idea whats wrong!

Well the site is only in construction ATM so hopefully when I move it to its full home it will all be good.

So at the moment it is only on your localhost?
