Check if all files did in fact upload properly.

Check readme step by step to ensure that you followed all instructions given there. (rename blank_config.php).

What happens when you click next?

Do you get a blank page or do you still have the installation screen with next button?

I too have this same exact problem, and I am on a totally different setup then the above. I'm on Win2k Adv. Server+IIS+MySQL 5.1+PHP5. I have read the readme's, setup the MySQL Database & can run other php applications. When i finish setup.php, I get a blank page with the PHPFusion Logo at the top. It is writing to the config.php, (only database information I entered, dunno if there is more supposed to be there). I have also tried ditching IIS for Apache 2.2 and running it that way. No luck! All write permissions on my wwwroot are set correctly, (I even went as far as totally opening the whole site for anonymous writing just to see if it was a permissions error!).
Could this be a database setup problem maybe? Anyone wanna maybe try posting some info on how they setup thier database with php5? I'd give that a try since I'm newer with MySQL databases.
Please help! ~ Eddy ~

I too have the same problem.

I have installed PHP 5.2.4 zip package from php.net. In IIS i have added .php as an application extension and selected php5isapi.dll as the driver file. look here http://www.atksolutions.com/articles/example1.html
With this application extension I get the setup.php - but gets the same error as above. Anyone who can help ???

Is this the right dll for php-fusion ??

(I’m desperate)

Not sure if this could be the cause, but do you have the Similitude06 theme in the theme folder?
