hi folks:

I am still running v6.00.204, works very well but I am missing some of the advantages of the newer
updates.

what is the best way for me to get newer versions updated.

shall I go full bore with the latest or add a few others first.

please help.

I just don't want to screw up the forum for everyone?

Start downloading version by version. Each upgrade is small. Get cracking and stop procrastinating! It would have been done by now.

:@ <---(Kemper) Heheheheh But yeah he's right on, most of these updates resolve critical issues besides adding features. It seems the only way to do it without full install is to go one after another, and if concerned about bombing the site you can backup/check function after each one so if you hit a problem shouldn't be too hard to pin down. For a running site this would seem to be the way to go IMO. Seems like a lot of updates but they go so quick shouldn't be a big deal.

If you try to circumvent the process, you may put yourself in a horrible spot. You have quite a few updates to do. If it was one or two, you could get by on shortcut (in theory).

Sorry!

This is why backups are your friend! Just make sure you backup before you start and here and there as you go and lessen your worry.

i do not mind doing each update, not an issue at all.

I just have to do 1 (one) to feel ok about it.

not that I want to do only 1 update and skip on down the road.

thanks for your help and consideration guys.

I just need to download one update and do it!
