auto-approving admins posts and adding subcategories ?

No, the submissions are for guests, mmbers in general non-admins to have the possibility to post articles, news, images and so forth. Admins can the approve the material. this has been made to protect you from malicous people.

so if you want some people you trust to write articles... well.. make the administrators and give the access to articles, images etc....


You can add subcategories in the standard installation, and i dont know if there has been made a mod for subcategories for v7 yet. Maybe some one will make a subcategory infusion for articles.

guess i'll use the admin panel then . i just found it weird to have to approve my own submissions .

as for the categories .. i don't really get what you mean by "subcategories in the standard installation" coz all i found was one type . parent categories with now child ones .

i've also checked the mod site and i couldn't find a single mod related to V7 . probably coz v7 was just release few days ago .. i really hope some one make that mod

well as an admin, you dont have to approve your own submision, since you your an admin. So go to Panel administration -> Articles -> write an article here....


im saying that there are no subcategories in the php-fusion package. but sometimes there are modules(infusions) and mods (modifications) made to the system. Good that you have tried to search for them, give time and someone might create it. otherwise, you can get people to do it or pay someone to make an infusion

yeah i think that would be the solution either someone will make it for free or i have to pay for someone , the best part is that i just installed php-fusion 40 minutes ago so i think i'll give myself a week before i rent a coder .

thanks for the link , i'm really having many thought to drawback to v6 to use all the mods available instead of wondering when it's gonna be there for v7 .

i can understand that. ut v6, wont be updated, its time for v7 :) - the mods and infusions will come in time :)
