1 back the db - that way you can always go back
2 dont delete the files... if you have added images and stuff it needs to be moved.

3 through your ftp client, download your php-fusion installation to your local pc

4 make a clean install of php-fusion in the root. then upload the files you backed up earlier.

5 import your db backup.

6. Goto Administration Panel -> System admin-> Main Settings -> change Site Url to correspond to your new location :) thats that

Is it the same procedure to move it to another webhotel? Except from that config.php and the database will change.

But different Safemode on the two hosts will be a problem for your Photoalbum. It's best if both hosts use same Safemode (on or off).

I just checked that. My existing webhost uses safe_mode on, and the one I'm about to register with uses safe_mode off. I know that SA at Swedish support site uses the one with "off" and that this webhotel has some kind of a fix when safe_mode is off.

What I wonder here though, is what I need to do to my installation when I move from a webhost with safe_mode ON to a webhost that uses safe_mode OFF.
