I went over 'Feature Comparison' and came accross "Multi-site" support.

What exactly is multi-site support and how to enable that?

It means two or more sites can run on the same database.

Yep...
Meaning that you can share the forum / users / whatever on all of your sites, installed on the same database. :)

For example I have two sites. But I want only the same users..

alter the prefix of the users table of one site in the includes/multisite_include.php file

That's the idea of how it works. Multi-site is so that you CAN use the same data on more than one site.

cuz at this point i have 3 portals...and will be great to have them all on the same db

couldn't you do this with version 6 by simply pointing two sites to same database in config.php?

Or I also used to point one domain to the other...

or is this more subtle in that it shares users but not content?
