Hi all,

I have a weird issue with my PHP Fusion 7 install.

Under the Admin Panel, the Infusions Tab has a strikethough on it meaning can't click it to get into the installed infusions settings.

How can I fix this please?

:o

Cheers

Some infusions may not have an admincontole area,if you're only using infusions like that, that's probably why you have the striketrough.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply!

I solved this one - it was down to security.

I had to logon as the superadmin and give my day-to-day account permissions to use the infusions by ticking the boxes for them.

Something else I've learnt about PHPFusion!!

I've now given my normal account all security permissions so hopefuly won't run into anymore issues like that!

Cheers

Ok, Lee - now I'm really stumped. I thought for sure this would be the fix, but both my superadmin and admin have all the privs ticked (they were by default) and the Infusions tab still is unaccessible. It has the strike-through text as described.

General info:
Version : 7.00.05 - running about 3 days.
Clean Install in a new directory.
No files altered before this occurred.
Website it's running on : http://kingsview.net

Now what? :-( I don't need a lot of infusions on my site, but I would like a guestbook that I found to work. I was running V6 prior to this, so am experienced with PHPBB.

Any suggestions appreciated.

INTERESTING... I have the solution (and feel quite silly) so I'm posting it for anyone else that might have this issue: You have go to the Admin Panel, choose "INFUSIONS +" instead of just clicking on the tab at the top as with other sections.

When there are no infusions installed, the tab header has a strike through it. Now that I have my guestbook in, the strike is gone.

Yes, When you don't have an infusion it will be crossed out till you do have one installed.

I installed version 7 a week ago, and have it live online. I have tried to install two infusions with no luck. They haven't successfully installed their databases yet as I get 'no tables' errors, and the Infusion admin menu is always crossed out. I Infuse them, add them as panels, and enable them. No errors are returned but no tables seem to being installed.

p.s. guess I should have started a new thread on this
