Hi

I have a site that is on 6.01.18 (upgraded recently from 6.01.10 ) and is extremely slow..it is taking at least 1 to 2 minutes to respond. Few months back, it was very fast; I have complained numerous times to the Hosting Service provider and they say from thier side, it is very fast when they check performance;

I did a test from http://www.webpagetest.org/ site and it looks like the news.php page is taking long time to display/download;

Any idea, why the site could be slow?
how to fix it?

There is no help from Hosting provider...

Thanks

No, no. We need the link to find out. Maybe some panel or infusion...

I don't think what this is caused by PHPFusion, 2 minutes to respond is too much, that can be following:
* Server problem
* Malicious code inside PHPFusion core
* Improperly coded panel/infusion/mod (for example never ending while loop).

Maybe it's sheep. Sheep are slow. You may ask, why sheep. Well why the hell not? ;(

Well 2fusion has been back since posting and has declined to post a link, so we'll just have to settle on the little known Tigersheep, very dangerous but tasty! :D

Erhm...wow SAP. I hate SAP! Well, sorry.
I admire your effort on this, albeit misguided in my opinion.

You have several ad blocks there that could contribute to the load time. The site (news.php) it self is only 188 KB large so that should no be an issue.

However I see this:
Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0
Date: Fri, 11 Sep 2009 06:28:02 GMT
X-Powered-By: ASP.NET, PHP/4.4.9
Connection: close
Content-Type: text/html

200 OK

You are running on an IIS Server and that is never optimal for MySQL and PHP, as far as I know.
