Hi, I have some questions and I wait answer from the crew. I know that PHPFusion is free and working under aGPL license. So if I request some mods they must give me the publik link to use them.

So I did request some mods from the site owners named below:
http://code.starefossen.com/news.php - I requested fusion functions and site theme but I have not receive any answer;
http://www.phpfusion-nederlands.info/news.php - I requested theme database but I have not received any answer;
http://phpfusion.marcusg.de/news.php - I requested some mods, bbcodes, infusions, panels but as you can guess again no answer.

Finally, here: http://earnit.se/infusions/eShop/eshop.php I requested kroax, varcade and I got an answer and here it is:

"Hi, PHPFusion is free yes, so are some of my productions but not all of them and eShop is not even released.
EarnIT makes commerical products but we also have some free.
The ones you request are not free or available, while Kroax 7.6 is availabe for paying users, VArcade 3.0 is not even public.
If you look at my sites running this, you will notice that there are no AGPL footers available since i have a commerical PHPFusion license that allows me to have my own products for PHPFusion with their commerical licenses and take any fee i want for it some have been Officially approved by Nick Jones aswell.

So the questions is still open for me: Is PHPFusion free or NOT?

Also I want request "now" from the crew mod db v3 from http://mods.php-fusion.co.uk and themes db from http://themes.php-fusion.co.uk Please give me the free public download link.

So if PHPFusion is free I am calling the crew to make what should be done and give me the download links. And again if it is free how it is possible these guys to sell?

PHPFusion is 100% free and absolutely always will be.

About the first three requests: the fact that you haven't gotten a response may be due to your e-mail ending up in a SPAM folder. But may also be due to the fact that some people don't have time to respond promptly to your e-mails. Besides, it's the summer holidays all over, so people may not even read their e-mail right now. Please add the dates you have sent the messages on and preferably even the messages themselves.

About earnIT: I'm not into the licenses and I do not know of personal arrangements. I'll ask somebody from licensing to have a look at this. If they violate our license, action will take place.

If you want the ModDB or ThemeDB, please ask an administrator at the respective sites. They work with these sites on a day-to-day basis and are able to offer a download to you.

and for mods its http://mods.php-fusion.co.uk/infusion.../index.php

You go to the above links and download each one that you want.

Membership is not required to download.

If PHPFusion is working under agpl license it means that noone can make personal agreements and want the others to pay for fusion mods because it is breaking agpl v3 license. Also fusion owner sells copyright removal which does not mean that when you buy the removal then you can ignore the agpl license. To me it means that you can only remove "Powered by PHPFusion copyright © 2002 - 2010 by Nick Jones."
Am I right?

By the way this is the second day that I wait reply for my requests and at the same time these guys are selling and making business so why I must care about their holiday.
And I am calling again the crew to make what should be done and give me the download links for the source not links for the sites which are using these mods and themes.

If they have paid for licence removal, then there is no licence to be ignored.

Because, this is an open Source community where everyone is doing it in there own spare time for free, so have some patience.

The ModDB is available on request on the mods site, send any Staff member a pm and they will provide you with a copy.

Does this mean that if I pay 30 pounds then I can sell themes, mods, etc.?
And if this is so, then why in faq there is no information about this topic? When I read some threads admins always answer that everything is free and can't be sold. But now I see that it can.

The commercial licence is very nearly ready. keff was recently unwell and unable to finish it to coincide with the v7.01 release.

It is not a problem for me to wait the new license but I am more interested in the fact how people sell NOW without the new commersial license. How it happen now people to sell "legally" before the new license?

And still I continue to wait for my requests (mods, themes, etc) ...

Ok this is the last time for you: ASK ON THE MODS SITE AND NOT HERE!
Mods DB is not used on this site, but on the Mods Site. Only Stuff from Mods Site can help you.
Ask here again, and you will be banned.

And some people already got a commercial licence because they got one from Nick Jones. That's the reason.
Send an email to the licencing stuff for more information about commercial licences.

For now, we do not allow any more permissions to sell templates, Ifusions etc, since there are aspects of the AGPL license that isn't cleared yet and we will not give anybody permission until we have reached further clarity on these matters.

So now i read this thread and hobby man stalking diffirent slaughter talking diffirent.

Anyway last 1 year im waiting for the change somethings. And helping turkish users, sharing my all mods. From mods site. but i see someones has personal aggreements. And they selling. This is not clear. How they selling and why when i ask im they answering me because of agpl and u cant sell. And they say (we will not give anybody permission)..

im waiting some explains. Thanks.

First of all, what is the reason that I can get banned from here. This is a forum and isn't it for asking questions and receiving answers? And what is more, I wrote here about themes and mods db because long time I am waiting the Stuff from Mods Site and Themes site to answer me but I do not receive any answer form them. There is only silence. So I decided to ask you and think you should take some actions as you are the official representatives of PHPFusion.

In this thread 3 admins said, that this Site is not responsible for the Theme and the Mods Site. If you want the Mods DB or the Theme DB you have to ask on their Site. Stuff from UK Site does not have the Mods and does not have any access to the Sites. Ask Mods/Themes Stuff.
The 3 Sites have not merged yet. And as long they have not merged yet, they are 3 different Sites with different Stuff.
Ask in Forums or PM any active Stuff/Support member on the other Sites, but not here.

I did send email to HobbyMan and barspin ( crew members) who are responsible for the mods and theme site but no answer there.
All Site Staff are same staff they are all crew admins. You want me to post 3 duplicate threads and admins to lock them because this thread already exists on the main site?

AGPL is AGPL. Someone can change AGPL rules? So please explain me how personal agreement are made and license removals are bought.

@ugin: this is where it ends. Period. Like we have told you: be patient! This is obviously not something you can do. If you ask for a mod/infusion, you should get it. You should ask for it with a PM, not a forum thread. There is no set response time for these requests. 48 hours is a very, very short period of time, especially during the summer holidays. The fact that you are pushing it here only emphasises your impatience and makes it appear you just want to push people's buttons.

I'm locking this thread now. If you haven't got the mods/infusions requested within two weeks of this post, please PM me and I will look into it personally.
