Questions about PHPFusion

PHPFusion is great for community web sites and very easy to set up. There's plenty of people willing to assist you or point you in the right direction in case you're stuck.

There's a whole bunch of mods and infusions available at our mods site. For custom mods/infusion you should ask there.

seriously, PHP fusion is the best CMS i could find until now. easy to customize, complete and great!! and the theme, php fusion's theme is easy to understand and make. ever tried making themes for wordpress? frankly mate, it makes me puke for my first try

I have nothing bad to say about php-fusion... Php-fusion is 1 of the easiest CMS, but basically it's unsafiest CMS i sow yet... (+srry i didn't tried v7.1 yet) and how my friend told me I should go back to other CMS's until Php-Fusion reaches at least 10 top CMS's... srry if that made som1 go angry or somethin... but that's what i think about Php-fusion, if u rlly need good scripting stuff, make some urself because it's useless 2 make unique Community website with mods and stuff r given at the web... cuz 99% of mods r used in at least 50 websites.... that's what i know & think about this CMS.

I shared (and somewhat still share) JoeyB's question (though not his irritation), but in addition, I would be glad of some advice with regards to other good free CMSs, particularly Drupal. Does anyone here have experience with that, and can anyone suggest why I should choose one over the other (php-fusion vs. Drupal)?

In my experience Drupal has less features and is slightly more difficult to setup. However, if you are programming savvy I do believe it is more customizable than PHPFusion. Of course if you are programming savvy, php-fusion is pretty easy to customize as well. Drupal doesn't really have a TRUE forum right off the bat either.

Can I make somehow Welcome panel disappeared after login? It is quite disturbing after login but necessary for visitors, so.... Can I do it somehow?

I came to these forums to try and find out more about what php is and how to use it. There is so much information it is hard to parse. Still learning, but I just wanted to get into the conversation.

I was using wordpress for a long time and then switched to php fusion. Very easy and customizable. I agree there is actually a ton of support at the mod site. When all fails hire someone :)

From what I can see from reading through the mods site they are very helpful and people are normally satisfied. Hope you can figure everything out:)
