TinyMCE not working

I hope it's ok to post this, and if this is the right place.
For some reason TinyMCE doesn't seem to want to work on a new site i've set up with v7.01.01.
I've previously set up sites with earlier versions, and in fact have one running with v7.00.07, and the TinyMCE on that works fine. But on the new site it's giving me a more advanced TinyMCE GUI but when I preview the changes it doesn't include any of the formatting that I set with the GUI controls.
It would be really helpful if someone in the know could help thanks.
