Hi

I had a website set up, but have since changed domains.

I have reinstalled phpfusion and set up the database.

Is there any way to put my old website back up on this new domain from the backup of it and make it use the new database?

What im meaning is i want the whole website back up on my new domain, not just the database. But when i try to restore it, it obviously cannot link with the new database.

If this cant be done, is there any way to recover the text that was on the main page(the welcome message/introduction)? And the added custom pages?

Yes, I think it can be done.

First, in your DB backup, you have to look for references to the old domain name and replace them with your new domain name.

Second, if you have modified some core files, do the same in your files backup: look for references to the old domain name and replace them with your new domain name.

I suppose that the DB details (host, name, user, pass, etc.) not change nor the config.php file.

If you have a DB backup, you can recover all the site contents, including the welcome/introduction message and the custom pages.
