Do i have to submit the whole thing again? That's silly...

At the moment, members cannot edit their addons. If something needs changing, contact a member of the Approvers group.

We hope to add limited editing of Addons for authors in a future version. However, all additions and amendments to Addons would need to be approved before release so updates would need to be submitted anyway.

Usually on a plugin page or in plug-in readme.txt there is a link to the website of the author, where you can download the latest version.
The task of any popular site with scripts - just inform user that such plugin exists, but does not check for updates.

In general, I would be glad if in each user's profile would be an opportunity to upload plugins and themes without approval.

Without approval? Bad idea... Everybody should be allowed to submit his ****ty crap of so-called extension?

Think twice about that suggestion!

gotta agree with marcus G here... only officially supported addons should be on the official site, otherwise there will be too many forum posts for support of addons that suck.

On Russian Support Forums (php-fusion7.ru, rus-phpfusion.com, unlogic.info) they more often uploads plugins in Forum addons, not in Downloads. Attach at us 1-2Mb.

The approval system is designed to give the user a guarantee that the Addon works, is safe and won't cause any problems.

It's not for people, who live in risk :)

1) It needed time to aprove by admin.
2) You create jack in office rules for plugins :) and many people lazyness to rewrite there plugins in your rules. I know many such people.

So, it will be better&speedly, if all plugins was uploadings without aproval, but aproval plugins will be have mark "approved"

I have downloaded, installing and testing dickers of CMS, while I have found most comfortable and powerfull cms PHPFusion :). From all testing CMS works only 5-10%! And I don't spare my used time. All need to try. Also with plugins.

P.S. Happy New Year!
