Hello PHP Fusion fans!

GamersFiles.net is a highly modified Fusion site with a large file database including files for the Wolfenstein series and the Call of Duty series. End of december i've put online the new site!

http://www.gamersfiles.net/

Please have a look and let me know what you think.
I'd love to hear your first verdict from a few pages!

Feedback / suggestions welcome! ;)

Regards,
Thijs

Menu looks confusing.. hmm either too many links or they are too close together.

Strive for less than 7 items in the menu.

Your background image is saved as a gif and is nearly 1mb, with jpeg compression you could probably reduce it to 1/5 of the current size. This will give your visitors fast load times and you some bandwidth.

also the red borders on the sides show up when the content on the page isn't filling out the whole screen:

Everyone can upload files, if one doesn't add a screenshot, it'll show the alternative [no screenshot] ;)
Not always shows no screenshot though: http://www.gamersfiles.net/files/25-ET+Maps and on for example.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated!!

Though i won't be removing menu items. To ease up the navigation around the site its best to keep them there plus I want people to know they can contribute themselves as well in a somewhat subtle way. I will apply your tip about the background image compression and the red border!! Thanks again SimpleVision!
