Just a thought here but it would be nice if there was a way for the administrator to take the site offline for maintenance and have a message displayed to users who try to access the site during the period that the site was offline.

Is there any way to accomplish this?

I would also like to recommend the Section Maintenance Infusion by Philip. This infusion is great if you only want to put certain sections of your site in Maintenance.

It can be downloaded from the Addons DB here...

Thanks, I'll check it out. PHPFusion seem to have everything that I need in a CMS for my site. I was using ocPortal and while it also had pretty much everything I needed, it was a bit more difficult to work with. I am currently in the process of moving all of the content from ocPortal over to PHPFusion. Once that is done I'll post my site here.
