Have you tried checking CHMOD permissions on avatars folder ? Or by uploading a fresh new copy of installation ?

Hello Ankur,
thank you for replying. IN php nuke you can view the default folder(in our case root/images/avatar) or you could import your own to that same folder. i have uploaded several avatars in to that folder but it only ask me to import them from an outside source.

Is there a way to make this the default folder and let them be able to have this option?

all the permission are setup correctly. i have double checked. this is a brand new installation of PHP fusion.

So, you are saying that Users can only Upload a New Avatar. They cannot Choose from the Avatars located in images/avatars/. They have to upload avatar every-time which gets uploaded in that folder.

I think that Avatar Studio Mod will be Good for this.

And for some Cool Avatars to use in this MOD, you can Download it from my Download at : Avatars Pack by Ankur

No, here is what i mean. i can not view this folder as an option to choose from. I would like to be able to choose an avatar from this folder without having to upload an image. Right now uploading an image is the ONLY option. But i still want my users to have the option to upload an image if they want.

Do a search for "PHPFusion Avatar Gallery"

It is quite an old mod so I am not sure how it will cope with 7.02 but yes there is that option to have a gallery for avatars if it works.

If you cant find it by searching let me know and I will find it for you.

EDIT: Here it is it's actually called "Avatar Studio"

Author is Terry Broullette his site is http://whisperwillow.com/news.php

I am using Avatar Studio 2.02 with v7.02.01 and everything seems to work as it did in older Fusion versions. I also haven't seen any errors in the error log produced because of it.
