Hi, I am a newbie in PHPFusion. I want to enter a banner in admin section but I cannot insert the right Admin Password. Iam trying to reseting but when I give the password (same as SuperAdmin) the systen told me that is incorrect. Where can I find the right Admin Password? Iam not remember clear where I have setup this password during the installation!!! Iam working localhost... Any advice?

If you are using Lower version than PHP Fusion version 7.02, then you can use phpMyAdmin to browse the table for users and finding your admin password. Then, decrypting it using any Online MD5 Decrption Tool...

Copy user_salt to user_admin_salt and user_password to user_admin_password and user_algo to user_admin_algo for your user id. Then you can use your login password as current admin password. But please change it to a different one (profile edit).

phpmyadmin -> table fusionPREFIX_users go to your user id and edit the entry.

I am signed in as Admin and then when I try to change the banner setup it ask me for my password. I says I have the wrong password, however I can log in again and again with the password as Admin the same password does not work. This I believe is a bug and several complaints on this matter has been posted. This version has many issues - its status should be "Beta."

I use Firefox and it doesn't separate the user password from the admin password.

So it overwrites the stored password weather it is user or admin.

This could be the problem.

My other CMS sites allow different user and admin names.
