I've got invites as well.

Not to shabby a service. I fancy the "hangout" feature (I think that was the name). It was rather nice.

I could see this service helping the PHPFusion staff at meetings instead of Skype someday.

But it's still beta so we've got a long way to go and I still like Facebook better at the moment (actually hoping my position changes in time).

Anyone with a gmail address can now join Google+ so please stop sending me pm's :)

I think that Google+ was made to be a connection between users of google services rather than a full blown social networking site. I honestly think that google is far bigger than a brand that is considered to be on the social side.

And if ever it gets to launch properly, it will be sticking up for a very long time with the incorporation of various services. The circles to handle your friends is nothing short to genius.
