so.. I've had some experience on phpbb... and its cool in a sense that you can click a certain categories section.. and see all subcategory sections... you can do that here... for example

ifff i had this

PS3
A Games
B Movies
B Hacks
C Hardware

Xbox
A Games
B Movies
C Hacks
D Hardware

Is there anyway to link to PS3 section directly so when it'll direct them to a page to those subcategories.
or for XBOX? or w.e.

and is there a way to even get deeper... like...

Xbox
A Games
1 Action
2 Adventure
3 Suspense.

and even deeper???

Xbox
A Games
1 Action
i FPS
ii etc etc

Do you have a question or are you just here to tell us our forum sucks?

There is Sub Forums in Development actually, try having a look over at our Development site @ next.php-fusion.co.uk Not to mention we have this great addon....

It's obvisious that phpbb have more forum-functions/features - IT'S A 100% FORUM.

PHPFusion is not only a forum - but includes a forum. Therefor not all ressources regarding development of the system goes for the forum-part - but for all part of the system.

If you don't like PHPFusion forum - then stick to the phpbb.

We can and will survive anyway.. ;)

My problem is i want the little welcome box along with the news section and all that other stuff.. ahh.. so frustrating... I would really want there to be a way to do that.. is there a way to keep phpfusion and somehow link it to a phpbb... like mysql...

For the record .. didn't mean to be rude or anything of that sort.. i've been toying with it for hours.. trying to figure out if there was a way to do it.. I'm not saying it suck.. I was just hoping it was more functional in lack of better terms.. I love everything else about it.. It's great.. Just the forum could use a bit of work.. when i saw phpfusion i assumed it was a fusion between Nuke, and phpbb.. i geuss i was wrong... but i'm not trying to bash or anything.. I appreciate all the work you guys put into it.. It truly is great work. :)

Changed...

Take a breath into a paper bag or something man.. I apologized.. Didn't mean to offend.. I already said I like phpfusion... and plan to continue using it.. I did come off a little harsh so i apologize... but moving on to being a bit more productive...

Is there a way to link the database like username and password to phpbb forum? I would rather create seperate Forums per like ( console ) and link it to them via PHPfusion.. I would also like the search function to be functional in a sense that it will search all of phpfusion along with all of the Forums... is there any way to do that. ?

Nah there is no way to use other software with PHPFusion, we encourage people to use our own software.

EDIT: OH and remove the CAPS from the title that is violating the code of conduct, thanks. ;)
