Multisites are php fusion sites run from one database. I have set mine as follows:

Registration can be done at either site and used at either site.

The admin infusions are cross shared, run from single tables.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
http://www.maori.org.nz/papapanui/ (The Main Site)
Set up in a sub directory.

This one has the full forums, full links and the calendar

Not all of the posts made here will show up on the next site.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://whakapapa.maori.org.nz/ (For Maori Genealogy Research)
Set up in the root.

This one has filtered forums and links, as well as the calendar and articles

All posts here will show up on the main site.

What is in this site that is not in the main site.
Articles have been added and I also created lists (which is based on the articles code) as well as email directories, names being researched and the archives imported from another database and system into php fusion. They are run from just the one php fusion database.

I coded the email directories not in the pages of PHP fusion as I needed to be able to change the side menus and could not work out how to do that, so instead I used the template and then dropped the email directories into another directory.

Both have been running happily for a couple of years now.

Thank you to everyone over the months who have helped me to get this all to work - it is truly appreciated :D
