Took a backup of the database for upload with the new host.
Works like a charm. Installed fusion, created the same passes and such, and went on to load up the backup file from the old host.

Content, members and threads are ALL showing nice and neat. even the shoutbox.
However...

I can login with my normal user and pass, BUT, when i change page, im logged out, and asked to enter login information..

access to the admin panel, is impossible :(
DID run a reset with the reset.php script thats out there, wich didnt help either :(

changed the information in the config.php file, to match the information in the backup MySQL document.
Also made sure, that the document was edited to reflect the current DB information, and that config.php was changed to reflect aswell.

argh :( any ideas what to do ?

Settings indeed. This COULD be because your settings table, sitename and site_host values are still as your previous URL. These settings would need to be corrected.

YAY !!!

took me hours to figure out what that settings was o.o
BUT, fixed it... those site_host and site:url things... and now, it sactually lets me in... AMAZING !!!

as to why i didnt find those posts ... either, i didnt use the right words, or i had no real idea that they were related to my issue :S

sorry about that :(

Used the method in the first link :)
Could be neat with a simplified version of the solution, without all the chatter around it :) .... for us nubs that is o.o
