Duplicate icons in user management

I am curious if there is an intelligent way to remove the duplicate icons in my Admin Panel. I am now sucessfully updated to v7.02.03 however I have double icons of items such as User Management, News Settings, Security and Downloads Settings.
Also on a siode note to the same, I have old infusions that continue to appear under my infusion panel that have long been unavailable. Some still work and I want to keep them while others are simply annoying but it doesn't seem to hurt anything having them there. They include single entries and duplicate entries of Advanced File Uploads, BotSlap Panel, BotSlap Panel , Calendar of Events, CVS, Error Reports, Extended Profile, Extended User Search, File Uploads, Fusion Community, Google Sitemap, Google Translate, Guestbook, Member File Uploads, Members IP, News Archive, Newsletters, Old Messages Converter, Photo Converter, PJIRC Chat, PM-Control, Radio, Un-Activated Users, User Control Center and User search.

I was able to finally fix this problem in the mySQL db

You can do it in mysql admin panel.. i think the table was - prefix_admin..

Thanks, ... i replied here yesterday and now my response has disappeared. That is the exact place that I had deleted the duplicates. The original post was back in 2011 however there was never a response and I posted my answer in case anyone else was having the same problem.
