Hi every one,

Im working on a website for machine engineer students. The forum is the heart of the website.
Unfortunately, our memebers are not good at codes and etc.. So every thing have to be crystal clear.
The problem is that they cant understand how to make a text Bold, Italic. How to insert a picture, and etc.. We have done guides.. but its just too difficult for the most of them to understand.

I wonder why it is possible to use TinyMCE on news, but not in the forum.

Is there any possibility to integrate TinyMCE or CKEditor to the forum? This would make the forum more userfiendly. And I believe that, our members would get much more out of using our forum, then they do now.

I believe the reason would be that it poses a security risk.

Well, the procedure to set a text for example as "bold" is nearly the same.
BBCodes: Mark text to set as "bold", then click the BBCode-Button
Tiny: Mark the text to set as "bold", then click the "B"-Button

So what's the problem at all?

I see.. Well, its not bacause the website is bulletproof against attacks. If a hacker wants to mess with the website, Im 100% sure he can, with or without TinyMce or CKEditor on the forum.

So, it is a risk im willing to take. And hope there is some one that can help, to implement it on the forum.

I hear what you're saying, but since you're asking for help, it may be hard to find someone to knowingly provide you with such a vulnerability towards your site.

Example:
Can you shoot me in the head? I'm willing to take the risk.

Yes you might be, but the person to preform the task may not be so willing. Hopefully that analogy provides some sense to you.

I understand what you are trying to say.

..anyway,.. I would really appreciate it, if some one can help me implement it on the forum. And hopefully no one is going to get his head blown off :)

No because it's only beta now, and how about another bbcodes?
There is only several of them supported by T-MCE, for now.

I need only few things;

Bold, Code (students can use to mark mathematic equations), Text color, and special characters for mathematics if possible.
So it contains most of the thing that I need.

I dont know how to explain it, But because i disabled BBcode for pictures , the previous pictures that I have had inserted, is being show like
[img]..../picture.gif[/img]
every where on forum and menues. So I had to enable the BBcode again.
