How to change displaying my home page from news.php to index.php?

Hello everyone!

I like to open some question about how to change my home page which is now link AV threat -removed
I want if this could be like when somebody enter into forum trough my website which is link AV threat -removednot like now where is home page on path: link AV threat -removed
I dont have many experience in webdesign so if here exist some who can help me i would be greatfull

Hi there,

In Admin >>> Settings >>> Main you will see the option for Site Opening page. there is where you enter the page you wish to use as the site opening/home page.

I have tryed a lot of various combination but nothing work
My forum is on path /forum/index.html and when i put this in place where you have mentioned above nothing happened just open again my News.html
If you can help with this issue further

Emm, remove the slash from the beginning forum/index.html

This come naturally with installation of php fusion and exatcly this i want to change so when i entry trough wordpress site i will come directly on forum not News.html
This apliccation latest discussion which is on wordpress site was lost from my past phpbb2 forum and now i trying to find new one which can related with phpfusion
If apart my first problem you can suggest me some new apliccation for latest discussion it would be great

Mate PHPFusions Core does not come with the forum index called news.html and again please tell me when I visited your site some application tried to install on my computer?

Thanks for alert me about that, i will check with my hosting company tomorow
Is this can be sign of low quality hosting company? i suspect on them long time but maybe now i have to move my site on another hosting and clean if is something malicious in code

No, not if it's the standard PHPFusion setup it does not require any htaccess redirection tricks.

It works now but only if i go trough my websites into forum
When i want to click my home page form forum it give some error above logo of site like this:

Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Unknown modifier 'n' in /home/pvcstola/public_html/forum/maincore.php on line 125

Rename you new.php to Index.php then change in settings as point it above that should work

I dont know is it right to have 2 folders with name forum and uder each is different index.php
On first i think is some redirection
Please if someone have the same version of forum if can help me to recognize where is problem

There are Antivirus threats found by AV under your links. Removed. Please keep links posted here clear of viruses. All links you posted try to infect my computer.
