On installation I'm getting this error. Does anybody know why:

In Step 6:final settings I get this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /homepages/28/db000000/htdocs/mysitename/includes/classes/PasswordAuth.class.php on line 22

Try reupload that file.

If you have not changed anything in any file, the setup should run with no issues, but sometimes some files may get damaged in the upload due to any number of potential issues like connection or something else.

I reuploaded the file again replaced the file but I'm still getting the same exact error.

I have not changed the file at all. Its directly from the downloads section on this site. I downloaded the files again from this site just in case there was any corruption on first download try.

It appears your PHP version is below the required version. Please, check what version you have and reply back.

If you're using PHP4, you must upgrade to PHP5.

Yes, that was the problem. I upgraded and was able to complete the installation.

Thanks!
