1) PHPFusion v7.01.xx and PHPFusion v7.02.xx compatibility.
A very nice newsletter infusion for PHPFusion v7 based on Digitanium's original newsletter script v1.6 for Fusion-v6 and subsequent script upgrades by Yxos and Muscapaul to Fusion-v7 scripts, vers2.00, 2.01 and 2.02.
2) Capability to send multiple attachments with html or plain text newsletters.
Sending multiple attachments of almost any filetype has been achieved without compression needed. Upload your files into the news_letter/attach folder by use of the Upload Files script. Once the uploads have been attached and no longer needed they may be deleted from the attach folder.
3) Sending methods deliver a newsletter with ONLY the recipients email address showing.
Automatically generates a text version of your newsletter for non-html email clients by use of the version2 html2text.php script found at howtocreate.com in the news_letter/include folder, which is sent when you choose plain text instead of html at the bottom of the form.
4) Smiley insertion has been added below the html-button code.
There are currently 22 smileys to choose from.
5) One, two and three column templates for each of the five styles.
The 15 built-in template files have been totally revamped so that font color settings will not be rendered invisible by gmail, hotmail and possibly other Web Mail services, thanks to feedback from Diemux.
Manual editing of the 15 template files in the news_letter/templates folder, opens up the possibility for using your own templates that are very sophisticated and adaptable for producing very complex newsletters.
6) CSS coding moved into the template files giving control of the body bg color and/or image.
All templates use a bg color for the body. All (a) tags have their own class to prevent interference with the themes css (a) tag settings.
7) Send newsletters or notices to a single user, multiple users or a user group.
To send to multiple users hold down the Control (Ctrl) Key and click on each user name to send to.
8) A db users table field added called user_newsletter for storing the subscribe/unsubscribe parameter.
This field stores a one(1) for Subscribed and a zero(0) for Unsubscribed.
9) Nice, simple side panel for users to Subscribe or Unsubscribe to your newsletters.
No surprises with the side panel. Very elegant and functional.

Sorry folks; a few minor changes concerning attaching executable files such as .exe .msi and .cab ... These are not allowed for upload or attachment however: if they are zipped first and not so large that they are rejected by mail servers then they may be attached.
Since file attachments are not allowed here in the support forums here is the link to download the updated files. If you've d/l'ed v4.03 please replace these files immediately.
Edit: Some research tells me that the maximum limit for file attachments is about 10 megabytes. However the practical limit is about 6 to 7 megabytes because when a file is base64 encoded it grows larger and will approach the 10 megabyte limit.

You are logged in as Admin so it shows your subscription status. If Joe were logged in it would show Joe and his sub status. Simply click the button that says Subscribe to subscribe to the newsletter.

Sure, but from read-me file it seems to me that one imagines to be high above the button, which does not appear to me!

Oh OK; I see what the problem is and here's how to fix it. Using your FTP, create a directory in the infusion folder 'news_letter' called 'img' and upload the image from the 'administration/images' folder in the infusion on your hard drive, called 'nletter.png' to that new 'img' folder. I think it got omitted from the zip file. I'm at work right now but when I get home I'll fix it and update the 'update.zip' file in this thread. Sorry about that.

IMHO that would be pretty hard to accomplish considering the way group id's are stored in the users record. I don't think it's a good idea and furthermore I don't think I have the php/mysql skills required to make that work.
Why would you want this anyway?
for example: I have 2 groups called "moderators" and "Administrators". I would now send mail to administrators and moderators simultaneously, because the administrators are superior to the moderators. The administrators will be always informed what is sent to the moderators

is it possible to make some kind of 'sendmail waiting list' ?
i have over 8000 members and it takes over 1 hours to send a newsletter out.
can you make so it send ect. 99 out every 2 minut. to avoid being catch as spam ?
