If you have done an upgrade, try logging out, and clear your browser cache and (fusion)cookies first. Then logg in again.

Tell us a litle bit of what you have done. Did you do an upgrade (from what version to what version)
There have been some problems during upgrades, many of them due to some files not beeing uploaded/replaced the way they shuold (ftp problems)
If you hower your mouse over the adminpanel link, do you get the aid part, like
(http://www.your_site.con/administrati...e)

It happened when installing a new mod, the whole thing is new... I noticed the error so i simply removed the mod (which actualy i couldent get to work) and then the admin link was broken, I reverted back to an old backup but that error is still there. The link points to the root admin dir, and therfore index.php there is no aid= part

Browsing this forum for the aid part missing is that there are corrupt files in you’re administration folder. I suggest that you upload these files again to your web server.

Try reuploading the "user_info_panel" to the infusions-folder, if you have not done that allready. Then try to log in via the adminlink in that panel (see if the ?aid-part is there).

Check to see in your maincore.php all the way at the bottom if is looks like this:
// User level, Admin Rights & User Group definitions
define("iGUEST",$userdata['user_level'] == 0 ? 1 : 0);
define("iMEMBER", $userdata['user_level'] >= 101 ? 1 : 0);
define("iADMIN", $userdata['user_level'] >= 102 ? 1 : 0);
define("iSUPERADMIN", $userdata['user_level'] == 103 ? 1 : 0);
define("iUSER", $userdata['user_level']);
define("iUSER_RIGHTS", $userdata['user_rights']);
define("iUSER_GROUPS", substr($userdata['user_groups'], 1));

if (iADMIN) {
define("iAUTH", substr($userdata['user_password'],16,32));
$aidlink = "?aid=".iAUTH;
}
?>

Hi. i am having the same problem :(
i'm makeing a mod af a theme, where a got the user_profile panel in the theme, and the admin link worked great.. but some how i must have screwed up the code :s couse now it is not working.. :(

here is my code, where the admin link is in :

if (iADMIN) {
      echo "  <img src='".THEME."images/admin.png'> <a href='".ADMIN."index.php$aidlink' class='side'>".$locale['083']."</a><br>\n";
   }

now i just takes me to the front page again.. news.php

i tried to make the code like this, and it did not work either :

   if (iADMIN && (iUSER_RIGHTS != "" || iUSER_RIGHTS != "C")) {
      echo "  <img src='".THEME."images/admin.png'> <a href='".ADMIN."index.php".$aidlink."' class='side'>".$locale['083']."</a><br>\n";
   }

i have tried to clear my cookies and offline files in ie, and close alle the broser windows and open it again, it does the same..

Im running a standard install of PHPFusion v6,01.
and yeees i have searched the forum over and over again, it did not help me :( they all say that i should change my admin link

from
href='".ADMIN."index.php'

to

href='".ADMIN."index.php".$aidlink."'

even tryed to change it to
href='".ADMIN."index.php$aidlink'

nothing works.
