I would like to announce that PHP-Invent is now hiring for their Support Team. If anyone's interested, please go to www.php-invent.com and pm invisiblegeek or read the News Post on the site.

Much help is needed! Thank you.

Well, on the site the word "hiring" is all in caps! So...must be some $$ involved (these guys are based in the USA). And since I know at least 2 of them are minors - well, one I'm sure but I think another is very, very young - and there are child labor laws and such...

You will be paid in tips (the ones that come in the form of advice, constructive criticism, and complaints, not money), love, and adoration. What more could you want?!?

:D

Hey, it may be for $$ but I don't think you'll be able to support a family of four with it. It will be cooler than running a lemonade stand in your front yard though.

Hey! Give the guy a break! ;)

Anybody interested can PM the admins at the site involved, and find out the "work conditions" and whether or not there are money involved.

But, I guess the word "hire" is a bit misplaced? Anyhow, I hope Blitz and the other guys get their staff. Let's be nice, remember it's almost christmas...! Peace and love! :)

Hehe, yes Merry Christmas! All the above appears to be in good fun in any case - don't see anyone being even slightly rude.

And yes, there IS a difference in "hiring" and "looking for volunteers" but these folks were not the first to be confused. According to Answers.com:

Quote

1.
a. To engage the services of (a person) for a fee; employ: hired a new clerk.
b. To engage the temporary use of for a fee; rent: hire a car for the day.
2. To grant the services of or the temporary use of for a fee: hired himself out as a cook; hired out the cottage for the summer.

Note that all three variations used the word fee.

Just a bit of (maybe not so) worthless info for future reference! Any time you use the word "hire" people automatically think it is a paying job.

Ok, since everyone seems to be taking the word "hiring" seriously, here's a replacement: seeking volunteers.

So if anyone is interested in "volunteering" for PHP-Invent, you can pm invisiblegeek.

Oh and for the PHPFusion admins who banned my razorblitz07 account here...oh and kejonn...remember when you guys teased me about me being an admin who would ask a lot of questions? Guess what, look at my avatar: PHP-Invent Staff. I may ask a lot of quesions but those questions I ask are beneficial and other people might use them for their own advantage. Oh and another thing, I reply to every single 0-reply post on PHP-Invent. I'm actually dedicated to doing my job. So, just to be clear, don't start saying stuff about people when you haven't even seen how much experience they have.

Not trying to be rude, but just trying to get something out of my soul that's been there for a long time.

Anyhow, we need a lot of help on PHP-Invent so if you're interested, please pm invisiblegeek. Thanks.

This blitzkrieg07 sounds like a right ungrateful git.... Isn't it PHPFusion he's using on his PHP-Invent site?

And what is it your site actually does? Aren't you just doing what PHP Fusion has been for years and trying to pass other peoples work off as your own ? :(

Woh woh woh, hold on now. First of, I try and promote the site to PHPFusion. I don't own the site. The site is webmastered by invisiblegeek and k3p7. I help them out by watching over the forums along with sbhedges.

PHP-Invent is a webdesigning community. Go to the site and look at it for yourself before even saying that we copy off PHPFusion. PHP-Invent is about helping users with webdesigning and coding. PHP-Invent desings its own infusions and mods such as fusionBoard. Why was I acting like an ungrateful git? I admit that I was a bit rude but I just wanted to get it out of my system the anger that was in me when I was banned from PHPFusion with my razorblitz07 account. All I do is help people, that's it. I get angry when people don't do their job right. I'm just that kind of a person. If yo uwant to volunteer at a website, then volunteer. Don't just wander off.

Does that make better sense?

Good that you got the moderator job at PHP-Invent. Everybody has to start somewhere.

You were banned here for being abusive to other members. Maybe you were mad, maybe not. But remember, not every question deserves an answer (those that have been asked often or open ended questions) and some take some time to answer.

Good luck with the mod job at PHP-Invent. I hope you are successful in that role.

Hi Blitz! Nobody's really accusing you of anything in this here matter - and you are not the first one to have used to word "hire" in a wrong context. And you wont be the last, lol. Let's not blow this out of proportions - and that goes for everybody.

It seems you come a long way these couple of months, and that's a good thing. And yes, I remember you when you were razorblitz07. And there was good cause for your suspension, and you were warned. We would need a double community crew for each member acting like the old Blitz, if you really think about it. So please don't criticise the crew at this sit for your ban, but instead be grateful you were not banned when you came back the same day as "blitzkreig07" still acting like an elephant in a house of glass.

Let the old razorblitz rest, and raise as the new and improved blitzkrieg07!

Seeing you as a crew member of PHP-Invent makes me happy. I have great admiration of PHP-Invent's work. Great site - great guys!

Let this be the end of the "discussion".
