Database backup problem

I'm not able to make a backup of my database in the admin panel.
After hitting the Backup button i go to a page with this error:
"Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log."
I've tried several times but no luck,does anyone else have this problem or does someone know how i can fix this please?

You host your own site right, localhost?
with xampp http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp...xampp.html or something?
can't you back up through myphpadmin?

damn.. i just registerd an account at Servage lol..
Did you had some problems with there service?
I think i managed to make a backup through myphpadmin but still it's odd that i'm not able to use the backup function in the admin panel :|

mmm.. i've uploaded that database backup from my current host but i get this error when i look into the MySQL admin page at Servage:
2007-02-10 04:31:34 FAIL
xxxxxx /www/localhost[1].sql
Server Replied: ERROR 1007 (HY000) at line 12: Can't create database 'xxxxxx'; database exists
But when i look at that database trough myphpadmin all the tables seem to be created.

you have to delete this line
CREATE DATABASE
USE
if you unzip it and open in word pad it is the first line that dose not start with --
it did the same with me
CREATE DATABASE
your DB Name DEFAULT CHARACTER SET latin1 COLLATE latin1_swedish_ci;USE

Yeah i have some problems with my subdomains and now they don't even reply to my questions anymore.. :@
