Btw, all you need to protect your site - latest and clean PF engine.
With no 3rd party infusions in it.

I think this is the crux of the problem.
It appears many php-fusion sites were hacked due to a vulnerability in version 7.2.5 which I'm sure was considered secure by the php-fusion team when it was released.
Users will inevitably wonder how safe it is to continue to use php-fusion.

billhunter, With that logic you might aswell not use your computer at all.
They keep finding security issues each and every month in most known browsers along with any operating system you could have running on it.
It´s just the nature of how it works.
There are no such thing as safe systems today, the question is how close to it we can come.
I would like to say that our security thinking have improved alot latley, we have a huge focus on security today and we do what we can in order to stay safe and secure.

Thank you.
That's exactly what I was questioning.... but you say that your security thinking has improved a lot lately which is reassuring.
I have been using php-fusion for many, many years on dozens of web sites and like the software very much and appreciate the work you put into it, but was concerned about so many hacks of my sites over recent months.
Why Craig believes it is petty to seek reassurance about the security of php-fusion is hard to understand.

Mr Ainz to you, Mr Outlaw. :@

I am not in charge of plugging holes in the software. I am utterly incompetent when it comes to that. I do however have a great interest in getting proper attention to theses issues from those who can actually do something about it. As do we all, I assume.

Now, please get back on fixing your site and how help can be provided for that (was Craig any useful?). :)

LOL mr ainz, i didnt and couldnt find any access logs to that site, let me borrow your pistol, and ill shoot it my self, put it out of its misery, and start all over,
being that said, i downloaded PF 7.2.6, is it any better than 7.2.5
