OK,
I have tried to install PHP Fusion but evertime i try and create the databases i get this error:

Invalid default value for 'panel_side'Invalid default value for 'poll_started'Invalid default value for 'post_edittime'Setup was unable to create one or more database tables.

I have set all the folders and files in CHMOD to what it says in the help file.
Any ideas what i am doing wrong?

Dazz :(

mistermartin75 I’ve read you’re thread. Error 1067.

The affected tables would be panels, polls and post. Renaming them to something else in setup.php and then changing them back to there original names with phpMyAdmin could solve this strange problem

dazzuk give it a try and report back. :)

It may be access-related indeed, but only in a certain context if I'm not mistaking. I have googled around a bit, and some people fixed a similair problem by changing the name of the table during setup, and then changing it back afterwards. MySQL could not like the words, or just refuse them as part of a security precaution, which could mean you have not the right access.

Anyway, here's a link: http://www.php-post.co.uk/forum/view....m=5&page=2. You could check this out too. Otherwise, you may contact your host to check their logs for errors.

Umm I've got an idea. Does the user you set to the DB have FULL rights over the db ?

That's weird... Could be the MySQL configuration, you should contact your host, or ask it at their forums, perhaps some other user experienced this problem in the past and knows how to solve it.

It's probably an old database, or a badly set up one. It says some columns have invalid default values, which means it cannot execute the query successfully. Which MySQL version do you use?

Has it got something to do with the fact your registered with 110mb Free hosting but your site uses that domain ? Maybe its a problem with their new CPanel installation. Maybe they removed a few features ?

Sorry….. No more clues left of what might bee wrong with your installation. It seems you’ve tried everything from a PF angle. Could bee something with MySql not getting it.

Someone else ……?

Have you tried to upload setup.php again? Maybe the file is corrupt in someway. Delete all fusion_ and pf_ tables agin before you try just in case.

I have left the prefix as "fusion_" and i have no tables with that prefix.
Think i will try with another prefix

No link yet as it does not work.:(
Current website is: http://www.mfhuk.co.uk

**********UPDATE**********

OK tried with "pf_" as the prefix, still getting the error though.

Ok. Maybe you only have access to one database and maybe the problem is several tables with the same name. In the setup.php script you have to fill out the prefix field for you’re PF database you are trying to install. If your prefix is unique there shouldn’t bee any trouble installing.

I meant a link to you’re PF site (If there is something to see yet) ;)

This is a new install in a database that contains some tables already for PHPBB.
It creates most of the tables but fails with the above error.

Not sure what you want a link to.

Ok.
The database has tables already that are being used for a forum.
Would this cause the problem?

If this is an all new data base and you are just starting with a fresh site I would delete the database tables through phpMyAdmin http://www.phpmyadmin.net/ . Upload all the PF files to the server again and try a new setup. It seems that your setup.php didn’t correctly create a working database for you.

I would say its not a chmod problem, it looks more like a mysql/database problem.
"Invalid default value" would indicate a problem with your database setup. If you have access to your mysql for example, phpmyadmin then check the configuration of your database
