Hi,

Im still not sure as to how/where the access came from.
Sometime early Friday morning the whole directory was accessed & deleted (along with all files in another domain i have there).
I dont know enough about this sort of thing yet.
My hoster has their own inhouse admin/control panel (not cPanel or Plesk) which doesnt (as yet) have server logs access etc. It only has sign in info to the panel account :(

As & when i get more info i will duly forward it

Hacked? What version did you run when it got hacked? And was your FTP password safe enough? If you did run the latest version you should report the hacking to someone in the Php-Fusion crew.

By the way; you may remove the version number (now v6.01.6) from bottom of your site. Many hackers simply use google and search for version numbers. If they have a hack for a certain version they can easily search for sites to hack.

Was gonna leave it there untill i was happy with it, then put it into the root :)
Next step is image links on the pages. I have that mod for additional links in a panel, but need to learn a bit more about inserting image links anywhere on a page (any advice/pointers most welcome) :)

I have to say that working with php fusion was quite straight forward, once you got over the initial "what does what & what goes where" bit.
Also, the users manual was great for "beginners" like me.

A little tip (not directly about your site) Since your site is (currently) in a subfolder, try saving this as "index.html" in your root folder. It will redirect to your site if people just type in http://www.gamestate.co.uk

I edited out the link to my site from the 1st post as it was hacked? just after i posted it :( & being as clever as i am, hadnt backed anything up (1st lesson learnt).
