Blogging with PHPFusion

I've no complaints about increased security at all!!

However, it's the infusions and mods that make PHP Fusion the great CMS that it is. The problem is that many of us non-developers who use them will have to wait a loooong time before most of them are upgraded. there isn't even a V7 section on the mods site. Many of the authors have dropped off the radar and the mods DB has been closed for months.

Again, this isn't so much a complaint as a moan, I appreciate the hard work that's gone into this and the work to come. It's just that many of us are going to have to stick with V6 for a while longer to maintain the level of facilities on some of our sites.

Exactly! I'd rather have a few infusions break in order to gain security and reliability.

Those infusions will no doubt be re-written for v7....or new ones will be made! ;)

Hobbyman, that may be true, but it is also good for security and reliability.

All infusions will need to be rewritten to work with V7 as far as I know...:(

in my opinion: blog with word-press! use php-fusion for a community site....
