Hi all, I am started to PHPFusion some time ago but I ran into some minor admin issues now
and I have some questions which I did not find answered on the internet

Situation
I did set up a portal and have about 300 members
Some of those are not longer active.

1. Question:
Is there a way (Infusion perhaps) that can delete members on the basis of their last login?
Lets say all members who did not log in for 3+ month will be deleted?
(or sorted into an usergroup "inactive") something like that.
I don't want to click through all membes.

2. Question
I realized that if you delete a user all its postings are lost.
Is there a way to preserve them (like an archive)
Or is there an option during deletion that let you chose wether to
keep the posting or not

Thanks in advance for any help

Thanks all for the replies,
that is helping me a great deal.

thanks Qwertz but you don't need to do this.
Another idea which might be easier (I don't know php-fusion)
is to maybe generate a "Post-of-Deleted-Users" User to whom all posts of a user-to-be-deleted
can be copied.
I don't know if that would be easier to do or if that is worse in terms of usability.

Anyway thanks again for all the help
Cheers

something similar to this, you can see in the infusion from the post of PolarFox.

as for # 2, the site I run wanted this mod too because someones account got deleted and their posts weren't saved.

but the forum doesnt run like that, if a member where to get deleted and you kept the posts, the posts would have errors because fusion_posts doesn't save user names, it saves user ID and then gets the user name from it, this is so members can change their user name and it will take place.

For this to happen (If I where to make the mod) I would have to add another table to the fusion_posts called "temp_name" or something of that kind, and then on deletion, you just remove some coding of the drop tables code.

Ill see if I can make this mod.

1. Delete Inactive Users infusion - http://www.phpfusion-mods.com/infusio...mod_id=311

2. As far as I know, there is no archive mod for this.
