Hi Guys,

Not been around much due to personal stuff etc and not really had time to get back into using PHPFusion.

Also - I was sad to hear the news about Nick. RIP Nick.

OK- I've just installed a new fresh copy of PHPFusion on a test device (a NAS drive with built in MySQL and web server) - I mention this as I'm not sure if its the cause of my issue.

I'd like to use the BitFrost theme that this very site uses but ater installing it comes out very bland, grey and the fonts are not correct. It looks like this:

Can anybody assist with helping me get it looking how it shoud?

I've also installed the 2Dark theme are it does the same klind of thing.

Any ideas ?

Edit: Don't think my attachment is showing,,,grrrr

Yeah, selection box simply shows the names of the folders which are inside of your themes folder.

...and bingo!!!

I've seen what I've done now. IN the themes zip file there's a folder with the name of theme but then you been to drill down into the folder to copy the exact folder with the source files across. Although they were being displayed in the Theme selection dropdown the there wen't applied correctly do to the source not being in the correct folder.

Now looking better! :)

Update: OK - I've trashed the site and DB and installed from scratch.

I've copied BitFrost, 4Newspapers and 2Dark themes to the Themes folder and selected each one. I now get an error:

I'm not sure about what is wrong, but check your userprofile settings, if you can select themes in your profile settings, set the theme default.

Yep - I can select the theme as the main site theme of my profile - either way it looks horrid!

The only thing I can think of is that is some panel you have and fu*** everything up. Happend to me on one of my site.

Try to disable custom panels and infusions you have and see if one of them is causing the problem.

Well it's brand new install like I say but I'll trash it and try the install again.

Just been checking a few other themes - they all look the same. It's as though the themes are not being applied for some reason.

Perhaps it's somthing to do with the config of PHP? I've just enabled all the extensions from my device control panel but not made an difference.

Hi,

Yeah - I posted in there yesterday but I think it got deleted - and also I don't think it only applies to BitFrost as I've tried 2Dark and it looks nothing like the sample.
