Using 9.02 for production site???

Thanks Chan... Now I know it wasn't me fouling up :) Starting a new job, so may not have time till the weekend to try it...

There is a confirmed issue with the updater in the installer. Put all your 9.02 files intact. Wait for the installer fix. I will just need a couple of hours.

Couldn't wait, installed 7 worked fine, removed it and tried installing 9.02 no luck tried it both ways Localhost and 192.xxx.x.xxx and got the same error each time

That's the IP that was assigned by Fast Host, Falk...Do you think local host will work???

The IP you type is a local IP, try with localhost instead.

I'll give it another shot today as the data hasn't been put back in yet. NOW I know I forgot to backup the config.php file also.

If you want, always can rollback. Backup config.php Just reupload full site using the rc4 package from github. I.e. 9.01

If you still interested with 9.02...
Ok lets upgrade full server. Reupload and replace all files from 9.0.2, and then try again.

If it is still not working. Its a typical server problem maybe.

Then... im interested to see what kind of hosting you are using for experience sake.

Uploaded all files and installer just sat there didn't do a thing.????

Ok Falk, thanks for the good info. I may just use it for the next 2 sites I move over to the new server farm...

It depends on what you are doing and plan to do. Test the stability of latest RC and see if it fits your needs.
We are rounding up services and our launch for the new 9 Main site, once it is done, We will do some final testing laps on the current RC to test it´s stability.
If nothing serious is found we will most likely launch a sharp version after clearing the known bugs listed until then.
Chan and many others do find things to patch during these Development phases. It is very good actually.
I personally work with hosting services atm, So I am not so deeply dependent on 9´s system functions to nail anything serious. That will need to wait until I finnish and start sharp tests on the RC again.
