Many have heard of mFusion (a system built on PHPFusion that allows all site content to be Multilingual) and many have heard of Fusion Kubrick (PHP Fusion modified to look and act like Wordpress) but another is arising: NIMP-Fusion. This system will take PHPFusion to the next level: Userbase Integration! What does this mean? This means the ability to securely integrate multiple websites using the same userbase (users table).
It's a simple concept and one might think, "Oh, that will be a sinch to create!" However, it's not. One must take many variables into consideration when creating a NETwork of websites using the same userbase.
At the moment, NathanBrauer.com and angel.nathanbrauer.com have a highly preliminary version installed. I have decided to scratch all the work I've done on it so far and take, what I think is, a better approach to developing this system. Therefore, I am going to need some major help. I am looking for committed, reliable individuals who can help in this project.
Right now, I need anyone with EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE of ALL the PHPFusion code, who can devote some time to the planning of this project. I'm looking for 10 to 20 people. We will plan out the database structure, user level structure, administrative structure, and more. If you can help, please email me at:
NIMPFusion [at] nathanbrauer [dot] com
Also, if you have any suggestions you would like seen in NIMP-Fusion, feel free to forward them to my email address as well. No suggestion will go unread, however, I cannot guarantee all suggestions will be implemented.
I look forward to helping to make and keep PHPFusion the NUMBER ONE Content Management System out there!
May the Fuse be with you,
Nathan J. Brauer
