I am having an issue when adding photo's and thumbnails. I read a previous post and did everything and it didn't help.

I simply get the error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagecreatefromjpeg() in ...etc

I have installed the GD tool and also activated it in PHP.ini, I have also tried changing the compression types with no avail... could anyone help? Thanks.

i use openbsd. when someones says "activate" gd, they mean do a

/usr/local/sbin/phpxs -a gd

again, this is on unix.

edit: digit mentioned somewhere "Easy fix, enable the gd extension in your php.ini."

the line in my php.ini is:
extension=gd.so
