I believe that some themes don't support the double column news feature, so you could try changing the theme.

Try forcing a browser refresh or clearing cookies/cache first though.

My first assumption was perhaps a feature not supported by contributed themes. Thanks for the reply

Its not theme dependant. Which version of php-fusion are you using?

The Double Column is in news.php not in the theme, What you could try doing is taking the Double Column code from news.php then put it in the bit in theme.php
You'll find :

Quote

function render_news

Or Something. It will have some code below it so Delete it then replace it with the double Column

Not confirming it will work though, I'm an admin at the offical PHP Fusion Themes Support site so your gonna have to trust me lol

Well I suppose you could open phpMyAdmin > settings table and alter 'news_style' to 1 and see what happens - remembering to refresh the news page after.

@Sbhedges - what are you talking about? The double column option doesn't rely upon the code in theme.php. It is (or should be) as simple as selecting Double Column under News Style which is in System Settings -> Main Settings.

@whiskey - Can you verify that News Style is set to Double Column?
