We've been using php-fusion for quite a few 8ball pool sites in the UK..... and it has proved tremendous.
For example in www.blackball.co.uk and
www.ddpl.org.uk

So, this is in fact the first problem anyone has experienced!
We installed the software about a week ago using the latest download.

It can be viewed without problem..... until users log on and then try to return at a later date.... it's then not possible to view the site until cookies are deleted.
If that's not done the browser seems to go into some kind of 'loop' in which it continuously appears to attempt to load the page..... but without success.

As I say, clearing cookies before returning to the site avoids this problem.

Wondered if you could suggest a solution?
Here's the site : www.llandrindod.blackball.co.uk/

Many thanks.

I know I seen this problem discussed in this forum before - just could not find it right now.

It sounds like www.llandrindod.blackball.co.uk is a sub-domain of www.blackball.co.uk in which case it is likely to be a cross cookie issue. I can provide a modded maincore.php/setuser.php to cure it.

Yes please !

I guessed it was something of the sort as there are currently four sub-domains of blackball.co.uk and each of these is giving the problem intermittently.
So I'v been clearing cookies regularly to avoid it.
The main domain blackball.co.uk does not so far appear to have been affected.

My email address is [mail]fdandco@aol.com[/mail].
The modded files would really be appreciated.
Many thanks. Bill.

Here you go, just replace the sub-dom files.

Hi.
I've downloaded your latest version 6.01.06 and it of course includes your upgrade to maincore.php.

Again it is to be used for a sub-domain.
Your mod for sub-domains is I think dated prior to your recent upgrade... so wondered if I'm likely to run into the same sub-domain problem?

Looking at dates I think I can replace setuser.ph with the mod file you sent?
But not so maincore.php?

Many thanks. Bill
