If there are no sites using PHP Fusion in Latvian, you must translate the files yourself.

There are not many Latvian sites around, but I did find one that might be in Latvian, at least it is a Latvian domain. Contact them if they have Latvian locale files.

yes, thnx, but he has the same problem that i have.

I can`t use some of the latvian letters, when I translate global.php those specific latvian letters are not previewed correctly.

Hello,
I don't know, but maybe the font of your fusiontheme doesn't support latvian letters? If so, you must configure another font in the .css-file of your fusiontheme... Otherwise, check http://www.webreference.com/html/refe...olat1.html with information of the use of special letters in HTML, that you can also use in the translationfiles...

If that doesn't fix your problem, no problem, ask it here,
but when the translation is finished, would you please give your translation to Php-Fusion, so that other Latvian users can use it to?

Greetz and a happy new year,
Filip

Make sure, you've defined the charset correctly in global.php, line 11.

For Latvian users, I think it should look like this:
$locale['charset'] = "iso-8859-13";

locale>English>global
change this:
$locale['charset'] = "iso-8859-1";
with this:

$locale['charset'] = "Windows-1257";

and save... Then start to translate in latvian with all letters and it will work :)
