Hi,
After upgrading to v6.01.6 I can no longer access the admin control panel from the direct link on the home page. When I click the link I just get redirected to the home page again.

I can access the control panel if I use a direct URL such as...

http://www.site.com/administration/index.php?aid=d5bd1e60df167795&pagenum=1

So it does not seem to be a permission issue??

I have reuploaded the entire administration folder from the v6.01.6 build again and still get the problem.

Any ideas??

what about reuploading the user_info_panel? Maybe the file there that has the link to admin got messed up? or forgotten :D

Thanks. It turned out to be the user info panel. I was using a mod from a previous version that I overlooked that was breaking things. All is OK now, thanks!!
