When trying to backup my site through system admin backup, as soon as i press backup it takes me to a blank page immediately.

Any ideas?

If you have a large database, then the PHP-Fuson backup may fail due to resource limitations given by the server. In that case you will need to try alternative backup methods like described here:

First check if the folder ..administration/dbbackups/ is CHMOD 777. Next try re-uploading the file ../administration/db_backup.php.

I kept entering my database password, but it's the admin user password (for fusion, not your database).

That wasn't immediately obvious to me at first.
