Hello!

I'm running the Apache server under Windows. Is there any way to use sendmail for windows or I need to use SMTP server options to send mail?

Sorry for a stupid question. I am newbie and I've found only this program in google: http://www.indigostar.com/sendmail.htm It says 'Sendmail for windows' , but I'm not sure if it will work with PHP-fusion.

Thank you!

it has to work with php. php-fusion does not care about the software as long as the sendmail function works. I use Mercury Mail on my testserver as it's bundled with xampp.

never could figure out Mercury Mail that comes with Xampp. So there is no sendmail function on my site. Open mercury mail and 15 windows open.. completely confusing.

Thank you for telling me about this mail server! After completing all steps I was able to send mail manually.

How can I get Mercury Server to work with PHP-fusion?

You've told something about sendmail function, but the only PHP function that I've found in google is mail() and it seem to need all SMTP parameters.

Thank you!

As said, PHPFusion does not care about the mailserver, it uses the php mail function in its sendmail function. The mailserver should actually work with the defaults (check the [mail function] part in php.ini).

I'm very sorry, but I still have the same problem. I am unable to send messages neither if I use default settings nor if I run a mailserver.

Thank you! Now everything works fine!
