problem in forum threads characters !

in Subject in Latest Active Forum Threads block that show just 15 or ... characters of all subject ! i want to increase number of characters
how i must do it ?
and i have this erore when i post e new thread in forum

There is no iPUBLIC in PF. You must be using a modified version.
